Ever since the rise of the internet and sources such as Itunes and the Berrics, skate vids have seem to lost their momentum on the modern skate scene. The number of videos sold in shops has quite literally dropped down to zero. In turn many pros are turning to online releases of their parts as seen by P. Rods "Me, Myself and I" released last November and Shane O'Neils rise to fame with his Berrics pro part.
It only seems fair to pay respect to some of the better films of the early Millenium that inspired skaters such as myself to push their limits of skating... and Kazaa downloads.
5. The DC Video
When this video first came out it showcased a new endeavor by Danny Way... The Mega Ramp. What ensued was a series of OMGWTFBBQ unbeknownst by man.
It was Rob Dyrdeks part with Big Black that caught MTV's attention and led to the creation of the show "Rob and Big".

3. Girl Yeah Right
Girl took a new direction with the release of Yeah Right, using various editing techniques and its lineup of skaters to make a masterpiece.
Throw in a cameo by Owen Wilson and you're good to go.
2. Flip Really Sorry
FInding the whole vid on youtube proved a difficult feat but nonetheless this video showcased street skating at its best. Just look at PJ lad killin it.
I'm pretty sure this video gave Aarto a concussion.
1. Lakai Fully Flared
The epic intro truly makes this video one of the best. Combined with a hit list of street skaters like Mike Mo Capaldi and Eric Koston you can't go wrong.
Honourable mention
Cheese and Crackers
Nothing gets me more pumped to skate tranny that this little number featuring Daewon and Haslam.
